The National Analytical Chemistry Meeting (20th ENQA) returns to Rio Grande do Sul, with the previous edition having been hosted in Santa Maria, in 1999. ENQA is chiefly aimed at promoting a discussion forum on the  advances in analytical  chemistry through conferences, symposiums,   coordinated sessions, technical lectures, workshops, round tables, min-courses and the presentation of articles both orally and through posters.

From September 25 to 28, 2022, the scientific and technological advances in the field of analytical chemistry will be presented by national and international conference attendees and speakers, contributing to the update of issues relative to the field. As such, this event is geared towards promoting and encouraging the dissemination of expertise, as well as their application in several fields. ENQA will also be fostering direct contact among participants and the leading companies active in the field of analytical chemistry. The 20th edition of ENQA will be hosted together with the 8th Ibero-American Congress of Analytical Chemistry (CIAQA), like at other editions in 2005, 2009 and 2018 in the cities of Niterói/RJ, Salvador/BA and Caldas Novas/GO, respectively. It is worth noting that the historical, cultural and linguistic affinity among members of the analytical chemistry communities of Latin America and nations of the Iberian Peninsula is reason for and fosters integration among researchers from these regions.

The city of Bento Gonçalves/RS, in the Gaucho Highlands, offers an array of tourist attractions and excellent hospitality and gastronomical infrastructure.
